New Year 2010 Moving Forward Easy Tips

We had a fun time on New Years Eve with some good friends coming over to our place eating some good food and playing on the Nintendo Wii.  Then of course making some noise at midnight.

Now, whatever day you read this is a great time to take a step forward in one or more areas of your life.  However, make sure it’s not so many things that you’re going to burn out before finishing or get scared and give up before starting.

1.  Choose something that’s really important to you and write down what it is you want to achieve or receive.  Then write down why you want it.  This helps you get clear on what’s going on and whether that item will truly help you or not.

2.  Next, figure out what steps you get to take to achieve this desire of yours.
Breaking it down into smaller bits can makes it easier to reach your goal or desire.

3.  Start taking action on the first step today!
It doesn’t have to be something huge.  Just anything that starts moving you forward.  Then do something regularly to keep moving forward.  If that’s daily, great!  Weekly? That works too for most situations.  Longer than that may not work though especially if its health oriented.

4.  Figure out a way of recognizing your progress.
This can be as simple as checking off a list or making a mark on a calendar each time you do something that truly moves your towards your goal or finishes a step for you.

5. Simplify.
See if there are easier ways to accomplish your desires and still get what you want.  This may mean looking back at your list of “Why you want this”.  It is possible that you’ve figured out the best way already but there is usually simpler ways of doing things.  In other words, be open to new and different possibilities, and be ready to accept them and use them when they show up.

We wish you success in achieving all your desires and know that you can do it!

Here are some useful tools that you can use along the way to getting what you desire.  (Some are affiliate links)

Yoga and Meditation -  These both have great results for improving health, increasing mental clarity and making it easier to recognize powerful intuition and inspiration.  Ask around to find experienced people in your area who can instruct you in how to do this.  (We’ll have more info to help you in this area as we get more pages written for the website too)
It is best to learn Yoga from a live instructor where they can assist you on the spot but if you like you can find Yoga books and videos at many local libraries to get you started.  Also there is a good selection of books and videos at Amazon.com or check your local book and/or video stores.
